Biography
Amy Cohen Banker is an American artist who has exhibited internationally. She studied at Cornell University and the Art Students League in New York and later served as studio assistant to artist Knox Martin. Her work is the subject of the book “Amy Banker Now” with essays by Martin and Agnes Berecz among others. Her work has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions, awards and public collections. Amy Banker was born in 1959 in New York City and died in Nyack in 2019.
