Description
STEFAN HAVADI-NAGY|Germania
The work was born from reading a newspaper article that prohibited the entrance to the forest of Brandenburg near a village called Georgenthal (Märkisch-Oderland), of about thirty people, where from 1840 the people used to bury their deceased loved ones in the forest. It is said that the souls of the dead, unable to find rest, sometimes leaving the cemetery and go to town. A history of the imaginary, as storytellers, the artist places the ghosts on a moving train. Real and imaginary, ethereal and material, objective and perceptive, as a movie is the work of our figurative artist.
