PINA DELLA ROSSA<\/p>\n

She was born in Naples in 1961 where she lives and works.
\n<\/span>Professor of Design and Art History, photographer and painter; <\/span>she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, a pupil of Carlo Alfano and Mimmo Jodice.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Her specific language is to working with images, offering photography as reflection and analysis tool. <\/span>Her photographic research, which began in the eighties, wants to be a great return to painting. <\/span>Painting and photography are combined under the compositional profile up to be two inseparable elements, through a relationship of different languages \u200b\u200bwithin the same image. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard focuses on the study of color and light, the tonal contrasts, on plans games and the intensity of the details, in order to overcome the physical surface of the painting, to go beyond the photo, to include the dimension of space- <\/span>thunderstorm. She<\/span> begins to show her work in 1985 when Mimmo Jodice presents her to the international photographic exhibition to “SICOF” in Milan. She<\/span> has exhibited in numerous national and international exhibitions and her works are present in public and private institutions, in museums and archives of contemporary art in Italy and abroad.
