Marcella Fusco (artistic name Fosca), was born in Naples in the 1968, \u00a0she lives and works between Naples and milan, Italy. Graduated to the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples in 1991 to the course of painting. She exposes from the 1990.\u00a0 She has experimented a lot of pictorial and mix media techniques, currently she deals with photography, painting and digital art. The search founds on the Myth and the human archetypes. Currently it is busy in a search on an oriental myth. Fosca is an artist who has chosen to express her own identity with an exciting, refined and complex research in History and Myth. Fosca\u00a0 creatively results from a pictorial and material research, next the artist tries to withdraw herself from materials using digital. In the series of works dedicated to Pasifae ,digital photographic works alternate to canvas works with pigment and gold leaf. In the elaboration of the image, the artist prefers diptyches and triptyches composition. In digital, today, we can also scan our skin (see artist Skin series) and have a real comparison between our real body and the photographed one, like a mirror, expanding in time where our identity of human beings fascinated from technology is reflected. Archetypal and Digital, therefore two exact opposite altars of a research tied to myth and\u00a0 to outstanding technological icon history . The artist has an extraordinary ability to investigate the primordial labyrinths in which everlasting characters and gods fluctuate, whose mythological history and human side emerge through her reason and study.<\/p>\n
