Biography
1966 – Born in Genoa, where he currently lives and works.
1989 – Gratuated with degree from the Academy of Fine Arts of Genoa. Begin the first interest for professional photography and video.
1986 – Early photographic works and series in b / w; begins a search on the body and its ambiguities and visual color. Created the series of photographs in large format, such as “Traces of news”, “Verosomiglianze” and “Photographies”.
2000/2004 – New photographic series that join their predecessors as shots vintage as”Emergency Beautiful” a series of large format Polaroid photographs and gathering and comparison of the anatomical details of their mouths, hands, eyes, expressions that isolated and cultured in evoke their particular references to acts and emotions more fully, pornographic iconography, or the new video series” luoghi di tempo/places of time” that marked the final abandonment of the script and the history; to retrieve the live footage

2005/2006 – Was born Arena M-Eats Corpicrudi (AMC), a concept project co-written with Corpicrudi, a team working on hybrid projects between video-performance/photo-installation and music composed by 4 serial episodes set in different areas the house of Samantha Stella,
through a free use of all different media within the visual language, performative and sound.
2007/08 – Arena has made it from 2004 to 2008 a series of 23 videos each starring a different main character male or female, the desire to give expression to the faces of obsessions bicolour breathing behind glass, each video was in turn interpreted by 23 international musicians from different backgrounds who have packed unreleased music tracks.
