Primo Piano LivinGallery, annually devotes an international event, the women artists, to promote an interdisciplinary dialogue (involving visual and performing arts). The project of shows this year titled “The essence of all things”, curated by Dores Sacquegna, is aimed to probe in depth the creative ability of women artists through a show that highlights concepts, symbols, archetypes, the characters and their daily living in close relationship with the world in which we live.
Within the exhibition, installation experiential “Goods Gone Bad” by italian performer Massimiliano Manieri from Lecce. The performance it means a non-place where the manufacturer shows the split between the human will, eager to catalog, store, order items, or ask a sincere question of what is not natural .. A silent gesture of rebellion against the fence caught our eye. All accompanied by the infiltration of noise and music by Giorgia Santoro.
The exhibition of painting, sculpture, installation and video sees the participation of artists from around the world: Europe, USA, Venezuela, Turkey, Colombia, South Africa, Australia, different in culture, religion, territory. Joined together by director / curated by Dores Sacquegna that has selected for their meaningful contribution. And so in the prestigious rooms of the gallery Primo Piano LivinGallery, the art is shown in its true essence, bringing out colors, shapes, sounds, visions, feelings, and encouraging interaction with the public bystander.
Art as culture of a society that is evolving, art as a common purpose and dialogue between the parties, art as a social event and meaning. From interactive sculpture by Ezia Mitolo, at the video “Private Conversation VI” by Elisa Laraia, from sculpture on ‘”Origin of the World” by Maria Luisa Imperiali to “Godness Mother” by Asli Kutlay, from the “Femme Warrior” by Katelyne Ostyn, to the “Whirling Dervishes” by Emine Tokmakkaya, from the “origami“ Wendy Roach to the “formal garden” by Judith Duquemin and so on..
All-female art show that brings the essence of all things.
