The exhibition “Human Landscape” , aims to reflect about the human body and its relations with contemporary art, today. According to the words of Pierre Bourdieu , French philosopher and sociologist , the ” body is understood as a mediator between us and the world,” thus serves the person to define their identity in relation to others, to show the company in that phase of life is found . The anatomical differences between men and women, are the primary basis for classifying the social and cultural differentiation .
This event gathers the testimonies of 26 contemporary artists (presented since 2004) that the Primo Piano LivinGallery promotes and exhibits in Italy and abroad.
