“If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to men endless” William Blake
This exhibition presents a reflection on the perception and the sense of light as phenomenology lived in its gradual settling, view in natural settings and not able to inspire feelings complex, dynamic, capturing the details in their emotional density, suggesting paradigmatic narratives, lyrical ideas, iconography bright. The fundamental fact is certainly offered by the contrast between light and shadow, between light and darkness, between opening and closing.
From suspension emotional and disturbing in the photograph on paper Fine Art by STEVE LEWIS, where animals emerge as visions of the night alienating the path of a potential traveler, to the paintings of the French ARNAUD CANIZARES, the vagueness of the contours of black figures hanging on the white background of the canvas, producing lyrical tension, in constant oscillation between the absence and the presence of light, revealing to the naked eye with a sensory illusion calls metaphysical . Fields of Light filtered in an exotic landscape and are softened by the foliage and animals glimpse reddish glow in the night, in the vision of jungles and waterfalls in the beautiful canvas painted with paint bombs by the French THOMAS DE BALASY; a light that breaks through the darkness, and that highlights the dark and dense masses, twilight areas that invite the viewer to a perception variable and enveloping, intermittent and at the same time evanescent; a light that captures the quiet glow of the landscape, suspending tensions and invites you to remember.
Light and darkness in sharp contrast in the female figures portrayed with a touch hyper-realistic by the Mexican Artist KAMALKY LAUREANO, where the shadows reveal light and vice versa, looking for absolute perfection and outward-oriented and emphasizes that emotion and emotion. Eros and Thanatos become opposites, magically brought together in the artist ALESSANDRO PASSARO, which entrusts to the unconscious, the chromatic density of their strokes, developing a symbolic language that leads to forms of psychotic and hallucinating and announcing a tragic incompatibility between human and divine.
Light alienating and three-dimensionality in the paintings of ORONZO DE STRADIS, creating evocative visions of worlds metaphysicians, focused by a click. Portions of heaven and of daily life, prompted by an energy not circumscribed; objects and subjects guided by symbolism and panics in continuous stratification. Emerge from the shells bright blue light box GIULIO DE MITRI, and seem to be able to live out of the water, into an abyss of light that feeds them and does not consume; immortalized in their resplendent beauty, in the time of the “here and now” that stops the moment. Tree of Fire and Sirens in the Artbook of mexican artist BELA LIMENES.
